Hi! This time I'm posting about painting! I made this image a few weeks ago using mypaint and the gimp. It's not a tutorial, just a commented timelapse of the entire process.

The real time was about ten hours and a half. Clicking this image you can see the whole image:

Hope you enjoy it, cheers!

Hey! Good to see you here, Deevad!

In fact, I made this painting after watching your Chaos&Evolutions DVD ;)

Thanks!

It is interesting, comparing your style and David's, I have understood the difference between a color painter and a value painter. It's very enlightening, thank you.

Thanks, Scaro dJ, I'm glad you liked it ;)

Very impressive. I'm learning so much (and want to run out and buy a tablet).

While watching I was thinking of future tutorials (rigging, compositing, etc.). It would be great to see a simple character created start to finish. Sketching, modeling, rigging, texture/lighting... Discussing each stage as a separate tut.

You have all the talents to make it happen. Amazing work as usual.

That's actually an idea I have in mind for future tutorials!! :D
