Thanks for posting these Oliver, they're very helpful to someone like me who's just getting started in the blender UI, etc. One tip, however: if you could be sure at every step to explain how exactly you're doing something -- for instance, in this particular video, I can see that you understand how to select a single vertex as part of your demonstration, but I have no idea how you did that. So for every operation that you do, if you could be sure to just do a quick mental check of "does the user know how to do this (seemingly) simple operation?", and if not please mention it. Thanks again, I'm looking forward to more! :D -David

Thanks :)

I didn't mention it cause it's the normal selection method in blender... wich was explained on previous tutorials :) (right click, by defeault)

Hi,
Following this tut, enabled all add-ons but doesn't have the Add Tube here.

Kind regards,
David

Hi David :) You don't need to enable any addon. Maybe you are referring to add a Cylinder, not a tube ;)

Totally awesome tutorial, you have cleared up so many things that have been confusing me. Especially with that illusive 3D cursor. Keep up the good work, it is very very much appreciated :0]

In 5.7 :
I get no “ add something ” sub-window on left part of 3D screen when creating a new object, as you do in your example with thr Add Tube example.
Furthermore, I have no “ Tool Shelf ” on top of this left part of the window. Can you explain how you get those  ?

Hi, Itl!

Press T with the mouse cursor over the 3DView, and you shold see that panel. For further information, you can also go to the Interface Tutorial (Find it on the Tutorials Tab of this web ;)

Hope this helps!
