I write this post because at the publishing of the last tutorial I had an error :( Some of you have notticed that I sent you an email with the new post... and in that email, some emails were revealed to other subscribers :S
I apologize for that, and I hope that my error doesn't have any consequences for you ;)
And actually I'm calling for your help with this post :)
The case is that recently, I'm having some problems with the web, wich at the moment is just a blog (blogger). When I added this system for the subtitles, I saw that the update emails weren't correct, so in the last tutorial I wanted to send that email manually to all the subscribers.
I comment this because probably some of you are more experienced bloggers, and maybe you can help me with this stuff :)
What happened is that I tried to send that email... but I discovered that my account doesn't allow more than 100 emails at a time. That's why I had to divide all the subscribers in little groups, and send several emails... and in one of them I forgot to activate the option for hiding the email directions :S
Is there some application or system that allows me to send custom emails for telling you that a new post has been published, instead of the automatic one? Cause in that one, it sends all of the content of the post, and vimeo videos are not visible always on emails, so it's quite crappy :S
I'd be very happy if some of you tell me a solution for this :D
Anyway, this should be temporal, cause if everything goes as expected, I'll have blendtuts completely redesigned soon :D

This is what I found, if you are using wordpress and are willing to pay for it (the second one), they appear very close to what you are looking for. I am starting my own (small) blog and have been researching this a bit.

If you use a regular email program (Thunderbird, outlook, etc.) you can create a mailing list. Add all the people you wish to this list. When you create the email put the list in the BCC (blind carbon copy) field, and yourself in the to field. This will send the message to everyone, without showing any other address. You will have to export your subscriber list for this though.

@Jikz: Thank you so much, but for now I don't use wordpress, and I don't think I'm willing to use it :S Anyway, is good to know that for comparing with other wordpress alternatives :)
@Anonymous: I actually use Thunderbird, and I did just that, a mailing list, and then put the contacts in Bcc.
The problem is that even that way, thunderbird gives me an error, wich says that my email server doesn't allow more that 100 simultaneously emails :( That's why I needed to send the email by small groups, and in one of them I forgot to activate te Bcc :S

Hola David! Gracias por la preocupación ;) Hace semanas que apenas he tenido tiempo porque estaba con varios proyectos hasta arriba, entonces no he podido actualizar blendtuts tan a menudo como me gustaría.

I don't know how many users can add in a distribition group (list) on google, but you can make severals ones to do a "distribution tree"
Just make sure when you send a new mail, put the list on the BCC field.

Unfortunately I think that I saw when I was investigating about this, that Google has a number of diary emails or something, to prevent spam. If you surpass that limit, your account becomes unusable for a few hours.
I don't know if this is true. Anyways, in a few days, I have plans to be releasing the new blendtuts web, and I hope to solve the problem with it :)
